No catch. The Stone Owl program is an ongoing program that seeks to enrich a student’s understanding of this country as well as a better understanding of money and an examination of civic values. The folks who dreamed up the program want to reward students looking to improve themselves and who are willing to go above and beyond. The upside for you is that you earn the title of “Stone Owl Scholar” and you get a hefty scholarship to help you pay for college or an accredited vocational program. And, it costs you zero, zip, zilch.
